Flu season is right around the corner, our vaccines have been ordered and we anticipate offering shots early September.
One must receive an annual influenza vaccination or file a signed declination with Employee Health. To be compliant with this requirement employees must do one of the following:
- Getting the Flu Shot Here
Receive the Influenza vaccination which is provided free of charge in the Employee Health Office Exam Room 439.
- Getting the Flu Shot elsewhere
Provide the Employee Health Office with proof of immunization if vaccinated through other services such as your PMD or acute care clinic.
- Declining the Flu Shot
Complete and file an Influenza Vaccine Declination form with Employee Health, those employees and affiliates who decline immunization will be required to don a surgical mask at all times while in client care areas and within six feet of a client. Surgical masks must be worn for the duration of the flu season as defined by the CDC.
Our BryLin Family is large so please help both yourself and me by obtaining your flu shot early, don’t wait until the last minute.
Stay tuned for more details. Thank you!
