Dr. Wendy Weinstein talks mental health with Penny Wolfgang on her program, “On Target with Penny Wolfgang”. The discussion covers a lot of ground as they discuss the stigma that’s associated with mental illness and who, when and where to get help when needed.
Dr. Weinstein is a board-certified psychiatrist, a physician for psychological health, who helps with the psychological well-being of men and women. Dr. Weinstein has the ability to identify and treat all the various types of psychological illnesses, which may include things like depressive disorders, eating disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders and more.
Dr. Weinstein graduated from State University Of New York At Buffalo School of Medicine in 1995 and currently operates a private practice in Buffalo, NY. Dr. Weinstein is also the adult unit chief psychiatrist at BryLin Hospital, a psychiatric hospital in Buffalo, NY where short-term crisis care is provided for children, adolescents and adults. “Dr. Wendy” also functions as the psychiatric media consultant for BryLin offering her expertise on behavioral health topics and current events on both television and radio.
