Testimonial for Adult mental health careThe Inpatient Mental Health Crisis Care Program for Adults prioritizes patient-centered care, aiming to create a safe and nurturing environment where individuals can heal and rebuild their lives. The Inpatient Mental Health Crisis Care Program for Adults offers comprehensive and specialized care for adults facing acute psychiatric challenges. Our dedicated staff members are committed to supporting patients on their journey towards improved mental health and overall well-being. Designed to offer a supportive and therapeutic environment, this program aims to address a range of mental health conditions and promote the well-being and recovery of patients.

Our Adult Treatment Program focuses on psychiatric stabilization and symptom management for people suffering from individual or dual diagnosis psychiatric disorders. Adults (18yoa +) who are experiencing acute psychiatric distress, such as major depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), psychosis and more will receive comprehensive, compassionate, evidence-based care from our multidisciplinary treatment team.

Adult Program Highlights:

  • Highly Skilled Multidisciplinary Team
    • Our program is staffed by a dedicated team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and therapists. This interdisciplinary approach ensures that patients receive comprehensive and personalized care throughout their stay.
  • Assessment and Treatment Planning
    • Upon admission, each patient undergoes a thorough assessment to determine their specific needs and develop an individualized treatment plan. This plan considers the patient’s diagnosis, symptoms, personal history, and treatment goals.
  • 24/7 Care and Support
    • The program provides round-the-clock care and supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of patients. Our compassionate and experienced staff members are available at all times to provide support, monitor progress, and encourage participation in therapeutic activities.
  • Evidence-Based Therapies
    • Our program offers evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient’s unique needs. These may include individual therapy, group therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and processing groups which include topics on mindfulness, relationships, mental health, sleep hygiene, distress tolerance, stress management and challenging negative thoughts, and more.
  • Medication Management
    • Psychiatrists on our team carefully evaluate and prescribe medications when necessary. They closely monitor patients’ medication regimens, making adjustments as needed to optimize effectiveness and minimize side effects.
  • Psychoeducation and Life Skills Training
    • We believe in empowering patients with knowledge and skills that promote long-term recovery. Psychoeducation sessions provide information about mental health, coping strategies, relapse prevention, and self-care practices. Additionally, life skills training helps patients develop practical skills to manage daily activities and transition back into their communities.
  • Holistic Approach
    • Recognizing the importance of holistic care, our program integrates complementary therapies, such as art therapy, recreational activities, mindfulness exercises, and stress reduction techniques. These approaches aim to enhance overall well-being and foster a sense of balance.
  • Discharge Planning and Aftercare
    • As part of our commitment to continuity of care, we develop comprehensive discharge plans for each patient, which may involve outpatient therapy, support groups, medication management, and referrals to community resources. The goal of the discharge plan is to ensure a smooth transition and continuity of care for the individual by providing appropriate resources and support to maintain their mental wellness beyond their hospital stay.
