Buffalo, NY – BryLin Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Lance Tlustos as the new Director of Social Work Services. Lance brings over 15 years of extensive experience in counseling individuals facing mental health, substance use, and behavioral disorders. His dedication and expertise will undoubtedly strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Lance most recently served as the Clinical Supervisor at Recovery Center of Niagara, where he demonstrated exceptional leadership and clinical skills. As a seasoned professional, Lance has a proven track record of success in nonprofit organizations, government settings, team building, and fundraising. He is an Advanced – Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, from SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Lance is also a Master’s in Social Work student set to graduate in 2025.

In his role as Director of Social Work Services, Lance will oversee both patient care and administrative duties, leading the Social Work team and assisting in developing new programs and groups to enhance our patient experience at BryLin.
